- Do not re-charge the battery unit while it is attached to your body.
- Do not apply the Tens device near any area with an implant, suck as pacemakers, cochlear implants, anchorage implants or any other implanted or body worn devices. Such use could cause device malfunction, electric shock or burns.
- Do not use Tens in water or overly humid settings, such as a sauna or steam room.
- Do not use Tens in an oxygen rich environment, or while using oxygen tanks.
- Do not use Tens near metal such as belt buckles and jewellery.
- If pregnant or menstruating do not place the electrodes over the uterus or across the abdomen.
- Do not attach the battery pack to any device other than the electrode pad.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Do not use on anyone under the age of 13.
- Keep clean of any dirt and oil.
- Do not use while sleeping.
- Turn off the Tens while engaging in any activity that could lead to risk of injury.
- Do not use Tens within 1.5m range of any unshielded microwave or short wave devices which could alter the current generated by the EMS.
- Do not use Tens near any medical devices such as X-Rays, MRI CT machinery.
- Do not use device if it has just been exposed to rapid temperate change.
- Allow to settle to room temperature.
- Do not use in elevation over 3,000 metres.
- Do not overly exert yourself while using EMS device.
- Do not use if you notice a change in simulation and contact Flow Recovery for further information.
- Only use replacement Flow Tens Electrode pads purchased from an approved distributor.
- Do not allow the device to get wet.
- Do not apply any solvents to the Tens device.
- Seek assistance when placing pads on any part of the body not directly visible.
- For best results wash and dry skin before use.
- Ensure the entire pads is in contact with the skin before using.
- Do not share pads with multiple people.
- Use of the Flow Tens can cause redness to those with sensitive skin.
- Avoid using on areas where any redness does not dissipate.
- Those aged 14 years and above or persons with reduced physical, sensory or reasoning capabilities should only use this device once they have received supervision or instruction by a responsible person who has demonstrated use of the device in a safe way and disclosed the hazards involved.
- Do not use device as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used near children.
- Keep the device out of reach of children.
- Never submerge the device in water or other liquids or pour water over the device.
- Keep away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
- Keep ventilation ports free from dirt, dust, and debris.
- Do not use the device for any other purpose than personal massage.
- Do not handle any part of the A/C wall charger by pulling on the cable. Grasp the plug to unplug, not the cable.
- Do not use any lubricants, cleaning agents, polishes or air fresheners on any part of the device.
- Contact the Flow support team when repairs are required. Do not disassemble as incorrect reassembly may result in an electric shock or fire.
- If the device is malfunctioning, or has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, received a sharp blow or dropped into water, do not use, and contact the Flow support team.
